What do you use to clean behind the bleeder valve? The build up there is always hard to remove.

Yeah, that's the hardest part for sure. Brake cleaner followed by toothbrushes and/or rags wrapped around a small screwdriver. Add copious quantities of elbow grease, and it eventually comes clean.
