Steering Wheel controls/Safety

Hey guys I got a weird issue going on and wondering if anyone else has this same problem. I recently went to go take my steering wheel off of my car and upon putting everything back together I no longer have any of my controls on my steering wheel working. On top of this, I am getting warnings about my safety system not working properly as cruise control is apart of those buttons. Another thing to note is that the ambient lighting on the steering wheel is not working either. Funny thing is my horn still works and paddle shifters still work which share the same harness as the steering wheel buttons. I have even checked the wiring connector that plugs into the steering wheel button connector to see if it is getting power and it is (voltage meter showing 14v). I am lost right now on what to do and looks like I might be taking it into the dealership as I am still covered under warranty.
