I have had this noise for quite a while. Will have the dealership look when I change the oil again at 5000 miles in a week or two.
It is hard to describe and I can’t capture it ov my phone.
I thouyit might be the turbo wastegate but I have no idea.
it sounds sort of like ta da da da da da very fast. It is not always there and sometimes quieter, sometimes louder, sometimes it stops as nd starts.
As the engine speed in off idle it is harder to hear or goes awa.
This sounds like anaccessory not the engine proper.
There looks to be a silver device up top near the back (fuel related?) in the approximate area.
Chain sensor, solenoid? Does the car have some kind of pump under the oil canister?
Will see what dealer says,
