I think people are thinking my race story somehow has to do with the title of this thread ?

I didn’t and wouldn’t say I “smoked” the GT. It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile..

The supras are quick, a buddy of mine when he broke his 20’ Supra in he took it to a drag strip and another friend had a 16’ 5.0 and they decided to race. The Supra had an exhaust and downpipe on it, he had everything else stock on the car at the time. The 5.0 had muffler delete and resonator delete with a tune and possibly a cai (although I think it was just his trans that was tuned). They had a nearly identical reaction time .001 difference and at the end the Supra won with about 1.5/2 car lengths at the end

They inflated the curb weight of the Mustang by about 650 lbs.
