For those of you that have installed these, I have a question. My kit came with new, shorter rear bump stops. So I assume I use those in place of the OE stops. But for the front, no new stops were not provided. Do I cut the OE stops or leave them as they are?

Thanks for your help

I found the instruction. It says to cut both OE and Tein rear bump stops. Do I use both? No other springs use both. Why cut both? This is the only page in English. The other install instructions are in Japanese

the reason you cut both is so that the factory bump stop fits in the top of shock mount and the new one gives your new shock boot to mount to.

click that link.. that’s what saved me

Cut OE and use the provided ones as pictured above. Nothing needed for fronts.

What link? I kinda figured it out looking at the directions better. It looks like the OE top portion is saved and sits on top of the dust boot. Your picture looks different. They both fit inside the dust boot stacked together? Why cut the Tein one. Can you just cut the OE one to the same combined height?

Perfect. Thanks. Did you cut the front, per the instructions, or leave it like shownfu said?
I took the bottom 1/3rd off, about an inch.. biggest advice I can give is take your time and unbolt the ride hight sensors!

2ks2k, thanks a lot for your help. I did the front without removing the sensors. Didn't see any vids with that, only the rear ones. I did have that shitty bearing on the top of the shock fall out. Had 4 of the little balls fall out. Found all but one, then when I was done, I found the last one. Son of a Bitch!

Thanks again

@mucky no problem! I sat there and scratched my head for a day before I found that link and it just clicked for some reason! I had the same problem with the bearings I was lucky enough to catch it before I had bearings fall out. Post pics once your done!
