Question on front sway install

can a front sway be installed with the car planted on all wheels or does the car need to be jacked up? I have a four post lift and can easily get to everything with the car planted but i am not sure if tension needs to be relaxed to do this.

When you tighten everything up you should have the front suspension at ride height(how the car sits normally) and not unsprung
