Hi, the tread on my factory PSSs is starting to get pretty bad and I am hardly getting any traction for my car (mhd stage 2). I am looking to replace them with better and thicker tires. What are some good tires? I mainly care about straight line over handling, and rain/snow is not a problem where I live. Also I daily my supra if that means anything. I have seen many other posts talking about PS4s, nitto tires, etc, but I want to get what would be best for my needs.

Also, tbh I'm not too knowledgeable about wheels and suspension and stuff like that. Soon I plan to order some lowering springs and spacers, and will probably get rims later this year. I don't know if the new tires will conflict with these future mods; I would like to set up everything as perfect as possible for future me.

I personally love PS4S and have run them on this and my Mach 1 I had before this without issues. Depending on how much power you have you may want stickier tires however and they may not be what you're looking for

I don't have a lot of experience with the Nitto 555 tire. I used it YEARS ago on a car an remember liking them. I went with the Yokohama ADVAN Apex V601 with a 285 out back. I feel the traction is good on this tire. My car had came with a Kumho All Season on it when I bought it so I can't compare it to the Michelins. I am on a MHD Stage 2 E40 tune.
