I recently purchase a 2020 Automatic Supra 3.0 with 4500 miles. It appears that while in sport mode and manually shifting from 1st to 2nd makes the car sort of jump a bit. The shift feels sort of hard (no noises or missed/slipped shifts). The other gears don't appear to do this and shift pretty smooth.

Is this a common issues for the 2020 model? Sometimes 1st to 2nd shifts are buttery smooth (shifting at around 5000 rpm). And like I said other times the car feels like its jumping/lurching.

Happens to me after cold start and shifting at low speed or acceleration.
f.e. try shifting into third gear at 18-20mph.
There is a minimum speed requirement before the car will shift a gear. If you are at the lowest possible speed the car shifts this usually happens.

That would explain why it is not as apparent in auto sport mode. Thank you sir. Also this is shifting from 1st to second? What speed do you recommend for that?
