I upgraded the gas shocks for the trunk with ones rated at 150lbs. The are a little shorter so that I am able to open the trunk all the way when my garage door is open. If I backed in I wouldn't have this issue, but my wife likes to back her car in so I'm the one having to pull in.

Works perfectly now. I don't have to worry about the trunk slamming anymore and it is so much more stable now. Cooler weather was causing the OEM shocks to not hold the trunk open at all.

Never added a wing to any of my cars so I never knew that the shocks had to be upgraded as well.

Which shocks did you replace them with? I know it’s only a matter of time before mine won’t hold with the Seibon spoiler.

Went to Hackensack today for the recall as I have very little confidence in my selling dealer and am not really confident of their knowledge. I have to say that dealing with common car dealership is very different from say BMW, Lexus and Porsche dealers. They seem so chickenshit! well we'll see...

They called me to pick the car up in 1hr30mins. I have no issues, at least not yet. They are efficient but I find the Toyota dealership kind of cheesy, low rent type. But the work was done right, and I have no complaints.

Now for the re-coding, not something I look fwd to. All my individual settings were active, seat memories, driver profiles. They did good work.

I LOVE THIS WHEEL! Where did you get it and does it scream "OEM quality"?

Put my lip on the other day finally. Fit pretty well. No issues. I had to do it twice as the car being ceramic coated the double sided tape didn't have a chance at all. Ended up ordering some 3m auto tape and 3m adhesive promoter. That locked it on there solid as can be and made a huge difference!
