No - stock was consistently 3.8-3.9. I added the JB+ and the times have dropped by .3

Again, I’m not sure how accurate this is. I’ll try to get to the track this weekend to see if my 1/4 mile times have improved. Last time I went I was stock and was getting 12.2 @ 116MPH.

Over the weekend I did 15mm Future Classic wheel spacers on the rear. I’m leaving the front stock to cut down on rocks. Love the look! I also installed my HKS exhaust. Very subtle sound and looks superb! Easy install too ?

Stock tires? What’s your launch technique?

Stock tires but I would say I can only get a good launch maybe 2/3’s of the time. The remaining 1/3, the tires come loose and it just kills the launch.

My technique:
- Manual mode
- Sport+ (programmed in Bimmercode)
- Traction mode (hit the VSC button once)

- Hold the brake in 2nd gear
- Hold throttle around 2500-3000 RPM for a couple of seconds to get the boost up
- Get off brake and go from 3/4 to full throttle at ~3000k RPM
- Shift just before redline

Fair enough - I honestly don’t know the exact RPM. I just wait for the car to squat. It is likely lower than that.

I'd love to get real 0-60 times, but not worth causing thousands of damage lol... I already know If I ever launched it on my 305's I am breaking everything lol... my guess is close to that tho on 93, and low 4's on e50 cause of traction. I am stuck doing 60-130 which I've gotten to high 7's.

Nice! Yeah, I mean I really don’t feel like I’m abusing the car but these are good things to keep in mind. Any time you are pushing a vehicle towards its limits, care must be taken to not cause damage or injury (to you or others).

- I really don’t know how accurate the app is (think I’ve said that a few times) so when it says 3.4… it’s probably not actually that low. I just enjoy seeing that number

- I don’t know the exact RPM at which I launch. I give it a little gas for a couple of seconds, get it to squat, then go. My eyes are up, not looking at the tach when I’m launching (just in case things go sideways… literally).

- I’m on stock tires so there is no such thing as a “hook.” There is always wheel spin - sometimes it’s minimal, but it’s always there even on a well-prepped track.
