Thank you! I love full CF hoods on cars like the GT-R, GT4RS with the Weissach package, etc. but I feel like the hood is way too big on the Supra. Looks extremely off especially with Nitro Yellow.

that is the plan! Although I will probably have to color match the blank caps to match my INGS bumper since that portion was painted gloss black. I plan to get the Verus rear diffuser as well to flesh out the back and improve air flow in the rear. Just purchased an antigravity battery so the diffuser will have to wait until I have the funds lol

You don't need to fab a centre exit exhaust to know pop rivets look shite but if you're not interested in other better more professional looking options then fine.

Just about wrapped up my center exit exhaust. Need to polish the cover plate and it’ll be complete.

What other options could you do to that plate? Looks good ? Be curious how she holds up over time.

I don’t want this thread to devolve into a pissing contest over some rivets so I suppose I can address all points here.

1)No offense taken to Phil’s rivet comments. I’d be open to your suggestions and what you would have elected to go with to fasten this plate.
2)As with any modification, this isn’t irreversible and I can always fab another solution. I had it buttoned up just because it was odd looking with the exhaust just exposed.
3) I appreciate the other guys that replied back to Phil, but it’s really unnecessary haha at the end of the day we’re just talking about a car here and everybody can have their opinion.

The primary reason I did this was to avoid notching the driver side exhaust opening for clearance with my previous single exit system. It was fine with the stock plastic bumper, but the INGS cost a pretty penny so I’d rather not. I have also wanted a center exit and the reverse light shape offered a the opportunity to replicate the LFA. I had searched tirelessly trying to find a good example and was fortunate to find Clayton Meyers (@clay builds on IG) who was kind enough to share his pics for reference to help me with a fabricator in Houston. To each their own haha like it if you do, shit on it if ya don’t. I think the world has bigger problems than pop rivets on a cover plate and I do welcome Phil’s suggestions.

I just hate pop rivets. They're fine on house guttering but not much else in my mind and I do everything to avoid using them on cars and bikes.
Have you considered using some Titanium button head cap screws maybe 4mm thread dia into some rubber well nuts? Get the shallowest head button head cap screws you can buy and you can even machine them down a little lower because you don't need much of the socket to grab onto because they won't be tightened to too much torque. The compression on the well nuts holds everything tight. Titanium is best because it maintains it's surface finish without degrading but Stainless could be fine as well. The flange on a 4mm well nut is maybe 1mm thick even a little less when tightened down. Easy to remove and install the plate and even replace the well nuts if ever require.
Rubber well nuts are used a lot to hold motorcycle fairing on bikes. It's the fine detail finish that often makes these sort of mods I think. They look like this if you haven't seen them before but are easy to buy on Amazon in lesser quantities.

That looks so damn good, I love it. I did a similar thing: single titanium pipe from the DP and splits into two just before exiting the hole we cut in the center of my bumper. I went with two long tips because it reminds me of a GT-whatever but I am wishing I did three now that I see yours.

Added two small LED reverse lights on either side of the exhaust as well, just so I at least have them for when I back into someone or something haha
