Hello everyone, new here and have a wheel fitment question. I tried searching for similar sizes to what I’m trying to do and didn’t find anything so I’m going to assume the answer is no but figured wouldn’t hurt to post and ask.

would a 17x10.5 +22 wheel fit in the rear wheel well and clear the fender?

I know it’s going to be a tight fit compared to the usual so planning to use Nitto NT555R2 305/45/17 tires as I believe they don’t run as wide as the Mickey Thompson tires in same size.

I’m lowered on H&R springs so I know it might rub on the plastic fender liner up top which I’m okay with as that can be a problem for another day for now. I just want to know if it will be too much poke and rub on the actual fender.

Thanks

I am going to say it’s not going to fit. +35ish would be desired offset. The rear gets tricky fitting anything over a 295 without rubbing.

I'm leary of the +22 not being enough. I run a Weld 17x10 +35 on 305/45/17" DR in the back:

Hey, Thank for the these photos. Are you sure those welds are +35? I’ve only seen those welds in 17x10 +40 but because of your photo I’m having some hopes the +22 might actually fit since the nittos sidewall doesn’t budge out as much as your tire.

I actually already ordered the wheels which are Work wheels directly from Japan in 17x10.5 +35 but it’s not too late for me to change it to a +22 before the wheels go into production as I can get a way bigger outter lip by dropping down to +22 which will match the outter lip of the front wheels.

Would it be possible for you to do me a favor and measure the distantance from top edge of your tire and the inner fender edge.

If possible the measurement between the edge of the inner fender edge and bulgiest part of the side wall of the tire also.

thanks in advance and your car is beautiful!

Hey Thanks Man. So a few things:
these are Mickey Thompson ET Street R's - very sticky, they don't break loose.
I'd be glad to measure... but i'm currently on my street setup :/
