Can someone definitively tell me the all factory boost levels of the A90 2020 supra. I’ve read different things ranging from 10 to 14psi and I’m trying to figure out if I’m loosing boost somewhere or if it’s where it should be. I’ve used the search but seemingly it’s not mentioned unless “factory boost level” on search is broken lol
Thank you

Should be around 14 typically. i've seen the DME request as much as 16psi before, but usually not for long.
14? Is it higher then the 21? I just saw a video on yt saying the 21 are 12 psi factory

The dme requests varying amounts of boost depends on a whole billion different things. Here's a sample from a log I took recently. DME_BT is DME Boost Target. The amount of boost the DME is requesting.

Ok cool thank you, I’m trying to figure out if my
Jb4 is adding the correct boost or if I’m overboosting or what

All depends. What type of boost are you seeing is it consistent? You said you think you are overboosting, what makes you think that?

Latest log on map 2, shows a boost level peak of 22psi and an ecu psi of 18-19psi

What's it at near redline? How's timing? Assuming 93 fuel?
93 octane yea sir and it’s at 15.6 right around 6500rpm I attached the log so you can see it If you have time.

Timings low I'd fix up the boost. Let me know if you are interested in a custom map. Shoot me a pm.

stock boost is not by target PSI, it's by load.
It'll vary with every run and depending on the conditions and fuel.

If you are losing significant boost, you'll get a CEL

Wouldn’t there still be a “maximum” boost level that the DME allows before stopping more from being produced? Otherwise the car would just produce as much boost as possible for the requested load and added conditions like ambient temps, fuel type etc

Yes, there is. Most modern ECUs are torque/load based but they still have min/maximum ceilings for boost as well.

Here are a few of those types of tables:

the minimum / maximum target is provided by the load, we measure it by PSI but that's not how it's programmed in the ECU.

As you see in the tables provided the values are all load based
In comparison to a JB4 where the value is provided by PSI

Stock car, no JB4 or otherwise, what is the max boost pressure that can occur regardless of load or anything else? There has to be an absolute max. I think that’s what the OP is wanting to know.
