M performance edition is not a limited edition. It's just performance package that can be added on to any bmw. Can hardly be counted as a performance package in some cases whens literally a badge package and not limited numbered in most cases. It's sticking the m badge everywhere on non m cars.

M Performance Package and M Performance Edition is different.
It was limited run for 2022 M340i.
And yes it wasn't anything real performance related. Just Full Merino, Different wheel and some aero parts lol
Edit: it did come with MPE as well.
They are doing one for M440i for 2023 MY. Although there are multiple of them sitting at the dealership here in BC

BMW to Toyota: you've sold enough supras you're done.

I feel 2024 we are going continue with low supra production if the z4 has no limits and can ORDER any color. Wonder if that means any color thats listed for the z4 or across the entire bmw color range. If that's the case the future looks bleak.

Aren't z4s 5-10grand more than Supras? Z4 m40i's are pretty unknown. But they go for 80k+ new here in Toronto.

This Z4 MT will be a minimum of 71k without any other options. Realistically, I don't see anyone getting one under 75

I wonder if the M240i axle has any significance? Is it any better or worse than the one that's in the G29? Are they not the same one already? If so, why would they swap the axles?

Here in Australia the Z4 M40i packing the B58 in it is about a third more expensive than the Supra!

In the UK the base M40i Z4 and Supra Pro are the same price. However the Supra comes with everything you need in terms of spec, whereas with the Z4 you could easily add another £5k in options.

I can understand the Z4 being 10% to 15% more expensive mainly down to the soft top mechanism and the interior being much higher quality. Toyota definitely cheeped out there.

It's almost as if the GRMN Supra is just the Z4 with the M performance pack.

Going to assume they just mean the M Sport rear diff, which is odd, since those come on all the M-lite cars... M240i/M340i/M440i/Z4 M40i/X3,5,6,7 M40i/Supra 3.0
