Well, I suppose, at least it looks pretty cool.

What are the chances that more concepts are still to be released?
If not, that'll be a total bummer. Everyone was SOOO looking forward to see a FT1 ver 2.

Guff posted the event schedule on the 1st or 2nd page. It looks like Toyota is done with the debuts. :(

Can't believe I let the hype and excitement cloud my logic, should've known better. Of course it wasn't going to show up at TMS, we would've gotten leaks before the show and the mule is still heavily camo'ed.

To a degree, I don't think Toyota has been that tight lipped about the project as everyone thinks. If anything, it's moving quite along that is, if they decide to build/test/race a proto for Super-GT, scrap the project, and revive a few years later *cough cough Honda. Highly doubt that this would happen with the BMW/Yota love child. The 2014 FT-1 concept was supposed to be a "design study" so, is it fair to start the clock then?

Well, it's slated to start production in November of 2018 and will be sold as a 2020 model (coming out in fall 2019), so we are quite a long ways out.

The Z4 on the other hand is apparently supposed to be on sale next fall, so a full year ahead of the Supra.

I'm a Toyota Sales Manager, I was told Tokyo way back in winter. I just got to work and I'm in WTF land right now.

Sooooooo can we assume that Toyota delayed the debut because they realized the current car they have is not worthy of the name "Supra" and went back to the drawing board?

That's the only excuse I'll take at this point.
