im looking to swap out the hood on my A90 with a Seibon carbon fiber food and I was Curious if anyone has input on the A90 hood latch setup. Since typically when you swap hoods to a lighter material you need to add pins to prevent the hood from flexing from the wind. Ive seen a couple guys run carbon hoods without additional pins since the A90 already has a dual latch system and was wondering if that would be enough to prevent flex.

I'm grabbing a Seibon TS2 hood and the body shop I'm working with said since it's got a dual latch system that hood pins aren't necessary and would be more of aesthetic choice for this car.

That's what I figured, almost no one has any information on it since most people aren't running them.

Aside from flexing I also thought hood pins served the additional purpose of securing the hood in case the stock latch breaks off.
