Fitment question

Hi,

i am currently deciding between two front wheels. 8.5x20 ET43 or 10x20 ET47. Both need spacers of course. How much spacers are possible with these offsets ? i want to trun 265 on 8.5 et43 or 275 on 10 et47.

Suspension is KW Clubsport (not too low) and -2 camber front.

Rear would be 11x20 with 47 offset with 305. Here i want to run 5 or 7-8mm spacers ? Camber rear is -1.5.

22mm spacer for the rear to get a flush fitment., and a 32mm spacer for the front to get a flush fitment. Do they make the front wheel you want in a 9", or a 9.5"??. 8.5" is really skinny. Make sure your new wheels will clear the brake callipers. What wheels are you considering? Also, 305 is too wide for a 10" rim.

Are you choosing these wheels because you already have them? Or are you planning on purchasing wheels with these offsets? Because unless you are getting a ridiculously good deal on these wheel options, I'd go with a different offset than et43 or et47.

When given the option, it's usually better to have the wheel be offset more than to use spacers to reach your target.

The offsets you are listing would be bringing the wheels closer inwards to the car's center by several mm. So you would have to compensate with spacers to get back to just the OEM track width.

Are you aware of what the OEM wheel offsets and wheel widths are?
Have you used any of the fitment calculators available on several websites? They can show you a visual of what your offset would do.

thanks for your help I already got some very light track wheels but I want also some TÜV wheels (here in Germany it’s a big problem not to have some tüv wheels for daily driving). There Aren’t many light wheels which have tüv certification and got good ETs. But I think you are right, the offsets aren’t perfect for the Supra.
