So I’m hoping people who have installed an awe exhaust on their car can help me out. Maybe I’m being anal but it’s driving me crazy. Awe is impossible to get ahold of btw. The front pipe section sits lower than the bottom of the car. In particular, the picture with the red circle (not my car btw), it’s that pipe that sits low for me, it’s bent downward on purpose which is weird since there’s nothing above it to clear. It almost makes me wonder it it was welded wrong? I doubt that of course. Those two pipes right there where it splits aren’t even either which is weird. One is higher than the other.

The other pictures are my car and you can see there’s that low point. Can anyone confirm that this is just how it is? Maybe you can look on your car and see if the same spot sits low? It’s a good couple inches below the bottom of the car. I haven’t put it back on the ground yet (waiting for my wheels to finish powder coating) so I don’t know how bad it is. But next is HKS springs so Every inch may count to hopefully not bottom out on anything. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

You need to install everything loosely, and then tuck everything into the tunnel and tighten front to back.

Did that and still looks like this. Do you have the awe exhaust and it doesn’t sit this low?

Thats the section where the big silver plate gets placed with 3 bolts on each side, correct?

I had the same issue at first, but then after I loosened a few things and did some twisting, it ended up fitting into the tunnel perfectly.

This is the section just before the brace. This is the front section just off the downpipe where it starts as one pipe and then splits.

Are we talking about the same section?

Anyone with the awe exhaust want to check theirs and chime in?

It appears that's normal. Here's a pic of mine, got mine on at a shop, couldn't bother doing it without a lift tbh lol.

Thanks for that. I’m guessing that the right side of the photo is the front of the car? Doesn’t seem as bad as mine. Well, just gonna need to avoid speed bumps lol.
