Hey guys, I want to Install a catless Downpipe and I want to know about the drawbacks of a catless Downpipe, I heard that in cars with internal wastegates boostcreep can accrue if you install a catless Downpipe.
And does the engine adjust automatically to lack of restriction?

I haven't heard of anyone experiencing boost creep with this platform yet.

Anyone out there?

Yeah me. I get boost creep and it’s primarily when starting up the car and putting it into drive. Also when I decelerate but I need to drive to see when this occurs for a better answer

It’s best to have a tune when catless.
it does smell but if you put in an ethanol blend the smell is sweet.

I have to get emissions testing every 2 years. It won’t pass with a sniffer test.
when the snow clears up I am going to get an obd2 test as as in see what happens. In MO I have have one system be “not ready”

worst case, switch to stock dp, flash to stock. Drive a bit. Retest. Then undo all of that and repeat 2 years later

If you can only have one monitor not set you'll def need a cat back in there to pass.

They don’t do sniffers where I am at and I can have 1 monitor be not ready

Has that worked for you in the past? In AZ at the time we could have 2 monitors not set and still needed a cat to set a certain monitor.

Never went catless before. Waiting for the snow to clear to get an emissions test.

If emissions is a concern go catted. There are certain parameters to set the monitors needed to pass that are only possible with a cat.

I will highly recommend you spend an extended amount of time near a catless DPed car that's been driving for a bit, and see if you have any reaction to it.

I, for one, started feeling lightheaded and felt migraines coming on after about 20-30 minute behind a catless M2C who I was cruising with, so catless isn't for me.

Cats were always around. Every car was catless way back and they all survived. Only a deadly amount of co for a newborn baby for several hours.
