Such a great pick upFinally managed to get it in the air. Short wheelbase required me to add pads on top of the lift arms to get the jack points to all line up correctly. Dropping off downpipe for cerakote tomorrow.![]()
Also found the source of the rattle I'm hearing at idle so will fix that as well when the downpipe goes back on.![]()
Drove down to LA (where I'm originally from) for a hangout with friends and back this past week. On the way down, hit 1200 miles and proceeded to start redlining it (only took me a week total to hit 1200 ? ). Big difference for the car from 0-4.5k and 4.5k-7k. Relearning the safety and traction curve and having a blast!
I need some homies like that..too bad I don't live in SoCal anymore .![]()
Pure 800/ A91 stripe install with the homies.

Quick question on the camber plates, did you install them with the oem strut bearings? Or does the dust boot simply fit onto the camber plate? Was curious because I saw that verus installed it with the oem bearings and that’s what’s been giving me clicking noisesHad a pretty busy weekend... HKS springs, Verus camber plate, and a Pure 850. Swaybars didn't make it in time for the party, so that'll be later this week.

The downside to this is my usual response to you would be “should have seen that coming” - and again TWSS!!That's what she said.

When’s the next ride?Bro, this is our lifestyle lol, every few weekends it's like this.![]()
I got you, PM me your number! I'll hit you up as soon as things pop, i know the 27th is a cruise up to Rancho Cucamonga for Supra Sunday! ??When’s the next ride?
I'm normally like "f*ck break in, this is dumb CYA stuff, whatever" but honestly I drive so much for fun that I figured "I can hit this in no time" and honestly, the car is still plenty fast and fun under 4.5k. With my M3, I'd drive about 4-5 hours for fun every weekend. It's probably one of my biggest hobbies. I put 62k on my FRS in the first 3 years of track miles and driving (although at the time I was in law school in LA and my now wife was working in SF so I drove up and back EVERY weekend, so that helped).Such a great pick up
At 258 miles and my car has already met redline, he must hate me.
More a product of the bad tires the Supra comes with stock. The Super Sports don't grip for shit. The car should've come with Cup2s or something stickier. It's been a real learning adjustment after a week of 4.5k virtual redline to the 7k redline, car is a LOT more squirrely than I expected after a heavy car like the M3 at the top of the gear. It was hard to get that thing scaring you for any reason other than understeer after 2nd gear since it weighed so much. This is more of a rocket sled (and a lot faster than the M3).
