SD_MK ~ I think the big red tow hook screams tow here… but the added decal assures they’ll know exactly where to hook it up. ?

Captains Log:

I Installed a JB4 yesterday under severe hangover conditions, yet still managed to complete the install with little to no hassle. Had to pull the MST airbox assembly to reach the electronic wastegate but the balance of the install was straight forward and easy. Fishing the OBD cable through the firewall was certainly easier than anticipated.

Started out with MAP 1 to see where boost levels were and they were sitting around 18-19psi under load, felt good. Moved on to MAP 2 and the max load PSI jumped to about 20-21, felt strong and smooth. Map 3 is off the table for now, feels like the car is making great power but hitting 23-24 psi to achieve it, probably too much for the stock turbo from what I've read. I am going to start logging MAP 2 and see where things are with timing and AFR, this is likely the map to be used long term. Also, updated the firmware to V20 (JB4 was shipped with V19). Blew out the engine bay with the electric blower and hit the carbon fiber with quick wax spray once the install was finished. The clear coat applied to the AMS carbon covers is remarkably durable, purchased through ind-distribution.com.

~2,900 miles.

Installed the Automodz A91 spoiler. Like everyone else has said on here, fitment is stupendous. Definitely recommend

Good to know the fitment is great. I put in my order for one last week. How long did it take to get yours?

After a lot of waiting, wheels are finally on. Seibon MB arrives today, debating now on paint match vs. keep the CF look. Worried on white it’ll be too much keeping it CF, but also feels sacrilege to cover up CF. Might mount it that way and run it for a bit at first to see how I feel about it.

Cusco Harness Bar/Brace is back from powder coating and installed. Olympic Powder Coating in Poulsbo did an awesome job, with quick turn around and pretty reasonable pricing. This car not being designed to have a 6' 4" lummox rummaging around in the boot trying to get to impossibly placed bolts was never as apparent as it was today. Next up, H3R roll bar mount for the fire extinguisher.

I think it might be too much... but that's what vinyl is for (or just phone it in and photoshop it till you like it and then make it permanent) - the right bit of exposed CF is likely to look better integrated vs. nothing else but the hood being CF. IMO

Alternately you could just replace the roof and hatch with CF pieces... for a more integrated look... but that's only going to run ~$5K-8K more than painting. ;) Your ride though so go with what looks the best to you. At least the wheels will tie in to the CF somewhat.

Nice! My spoiler hasn't shipped yet, guess I'll have to keep waiting patiently lol.
It’ll definitely be worth the wait! Trust me. Install is really easy as well. Takes you longer to prep the surface than it does to throw the spoiler on lol

I'm on holiday in NYC, so all I've done is long for my Supra.

But hello if this was you just south of Time Square this evening. ??
