Supra 3.0 gets stuck in processing?

Hi guys, want to share my experience and know if you have had a similar experience before.
I reserved my 2022 Supra 3.0 in mid-March, back then, I was told by the dealer that my car will be built on March 20 and arrive by the end of April.
Starting from April 7, I can see that the status of my vehicle became F with an eta `currFromDate 2022-04-19 & currentToDate 2022-04-24`, everything looked good then.

But now it's already May 14, my car hasn't arrived yet, and the eta on the website remains unchanged. I tried to contact the Toyota official, they told me that only the dealer has the information. But the dealer keeps telling me that the car is still in processing, they are certain that it has been built, but they have no idea where the car is (port? vessel? ..) ?

Wanted to know if you have had a similar experience. I will update mine here as well

I have had mine for 3 weeks and she sat the port for almost a month, short staff like everywhere I guess. Waiting really sucks, but so worth it, this thing is killer!

Out of curiosity how long did it end up taking? Currently waiting for mine and it's been a month already. The hack above to see what status it was in stopped working, I tried other Toyota VINs and it only shows "Page you are looking for not found".

It was in "A" before the hack stopped working.

Mine has been stuck at the port for a couple weeks now. According to my dealership, the ETA changed from 7/5 to 7/20. I am hoping it doesn't delay anymore than that.

Waiting sucks, I almost bought a new RS3 that was available near me, but decided to wait on the Supra.

“A” (allocation) “F” (freight) “G” (ground), these cars are made Austria, they take a lot longer to get here. Just be patient, I know it’s hard, but it’ll get here…

Hey JST, mine finally arrived and I picked it up on Monday.

The status worked for me and then stopped, it was in "A" when I was able to check early June then stopped working for my VIN. I never got to see it go to "F and "G" maybe due to the fact that it was already pre-sold to me.

The car showed "In transit" and "coming soon" for the longest time on the dealer website.

Here is how it went for me:


- Saw the car listed on the dealer's website in early June
- Contacted dealership on 6/2 and put deposit down
- Sales lady kept me updated and let me know it was sitting in the port in Houston when I saw it show "A"
- Started to get frustrated after the method above stopped working
- Sales lady sent me a text showing "F" status on her system and that the car was in transit to the dealership
- Finally picked it up on Monday 7/18

For reference, it took just over three months for my Supra to arrive after the build date:

Ask the dealer to snap you a screenshot of the status. It really does take a looooonnnnng time….
