Windshield surprised me, first time driving the car was like watching a movie with black bars on top and bottom lol

I thought this was going to be a problem but it’s honestly not for me. When taking a left hand turn from a stop, I just need to make sure I’m seeing a clear street because as soon as I turn left I can’t see right anymore. That’s my only true blind spot. I have the base without blind spot monitors and I really don’t feel like I need them. Just two cents…
So if you any of you have been reading my threads you will know that I've been wanting to buy a supra for a lil while. Yesterday I went to test drive the 4cyl to get an idea of how the car rides unfortunately the 6cyl was not available. I loved everything about the car except for one thing the visibility ur lowkey blind while driving, but the blind spots help a bit, but to my supra owners out there how did u cope with it ur did u just get used to it?

I felt the same as you when i first drove it. Felt like i was looking through a letterbox and could see nothing.

Now i feel a lot more convident after 2000miles.

First time i drove it home was though central london though and was fully squeaky bum time for the whole journey. Had to go through rotherhithe tunnel which anyone has been though there knows it must have been designed for the orginal mini or something

Now it feels almost like a normal car.

I came from a old (2002) C class with lots of visibility so it was an extreme change but an easy one

No issues on visibility with the Supra at all. I guess because I have a FJ Cruiser too. FJ cruiser visibility is challenging for some. I drive both with no issues

Tint strip legal in FL? I'd get pulled over every other week in TX. Jealous.

Every car/truck I get I tint the WHOLE windshield 50%. I suggest looking into that, you can’t even tell from inside but really helps to keep your car cool in the summer, especially ceramic tint…
Mine came with a tint strip, so I can relate. I considered removing it for the first few days. Now I barely notice it.

The Supra has surprisingly good visibility but the side mirrors need to be wide angled or replaced with aftermarket, at least here in the US. The stock mirrors suck.
