HKS Super SQV IV Blow Off Valve

I've seen a few posts stating it was unnecessary to run a blow-off valve on our cars. Looks like HKS Japan is selling a (part# 71008-AT022V). For those of us running the HKS intake kit they are making a combination kit with a suction return setup. Has anyone taken a look at this and considered ordering? I'm a bit of an HKS whore and won't lie, I'd love some added sounds.

Thoughts?

• When the air is vented into the atmosphere, the sharp blow-off sound emphasizes the existence of the SQV by the unique high frequency of the HKS SUPER SQV IV.
• Changing the material of the charge pipe from the resin (at the stock) to the aluminum improves the durability and reduction of the airflow resistance. (see Fig.)
• The combination kit including the suction return kit is available for exclusive use in the vehicle equipped with one of the stock air cleaners, HKS Carbon Racing Suction, or HKS Cold Air Intake.

Pretty sure you need more than just a charge pipe though.

I am not seeing any HKS charge pipes. Each of the charge pipes I'm seeing online looks to have an area where the blow off valve could attach

No way. You'll have to weld the bung. Not a huge deal. The only bungs on the aftermarket charge pipes are NPT fittings for nitrous/meth.

HKS Charge pipe was announced in development in 2020. We'll see whenever it decides to come....

I don't think it's available there either, but I have no access to the wholesale product list there to confirm.

It should but i cannot guarantee fitment between different aftermarket brands

BOV is on the charged side, it shouldn't interfere with anything on the intake side... Unrelated components. Potentially fitment issues, but I can't see how.

The last blow off valve I had from HKS was on an old bug eye (new at the time) WRX and it sounded like a mouse gasping for air after water boarding.. but that never happened.
