That helps. It really does read as though they removed HUD for 23'

I'm not so sure... in the gallery section they show the HUD clear as day in an interior photo, and in the Technology section they have a whole picture and description dedicated to the HUD.

I think what is confusing people, myself included, is that they show the HUD as "optional" on the list of specs for the 3.0 Premium and the A91-MT (indicated with a circle icon instead of a check mark), but the HUD does not appear in the Driver Assist Package or in any of the optional accessories.

My assumption is the HUD is still there on the premiums, but they might be having chip related parts issues so they're being ambiguous about it so if your car is supposed to have it but doesn't due to unavailable chips they just will say "oh that was optional".

2023 Supras have already started being allocated. We haven’t received any yet, but I see them on the West inventory report…

Yikes, your build date is over a year away?

Sorry, Later this month.
I was told I may take the delivery of the car as early as end of September but definitely the first part of October.

That's a lot more reasonable. I saw that "23" and thought if they were THAT behind that my preference might not even get filled.

I think the only thing I have going for me is that my preference is put in at a dealer who has zero other people waiting for Supras ahead of me... however they have zero other people looking for Supras, and my sales person even told me my Supra would be the first and ONLY Supra they'd ever ordered or received if it comes in. Which makes me wonder if they will even get an allocation... does Toyota "discriminate" against dealers who have never had certain models before? My dealer talks a big game about easily getting me what I want, but so far two allocations and zip.

I've heard from a Canadian dealer who's getting several 23 supra this month saying that they can get that many because they've sold many Supra before. So it could be. But if your dealer is willing to reach out to Toyota proactively to place an order instead of just sitting there waiting for an allocation things might be different - just my guess.

I put a deposit down back in April. All I’m getting from the salesman is they ā€œhave my fileā€ and ā€œToyota hasn’t released much informationā€. I’m happy for y’all that have your build dates but I’m crying on the inside.
