Hi All -

New to the forum. I have a deposit on an allocated A91 MT SE Burnout in GA. Upgrading from my 2020 A90 Phantom Grey.

I'm told it's been at port for the past week.

I've been assured that it's MINE ... since I agreed to the $7k mark-up and got all the pre-approved finance crap out of the way. Still afraid it will turn into a bidding war once it actually gets to the dealership though. Fingers crossed - hoping to have it in the next week or so.

Super excited about this!

7K? That's the second highest, someone confirming to pay....next to 10K mark-up I have seen on this forum. Dealer is robbing you with the mark-up so I don't see a bidding war at the dealer, especially if you have the pre paper works done.

You’re super safe, no reason to worry imo. $7K markup is getting absolutely HOSED, I doubt anyone is going to try to offer more.

My buddy works at a dealer in Chicago where I got my baby.
Says he has a allocation A91 but wants 15k over.

I'm sure, once the SE's are actually available (not at port or on hold), many will go for 10-15k over MSRP.

Grats on actually securing the car. Don’t worry about the haters! You ain’t gonna be thinking about $7k when you rowing thru them gears in your limited a91-mt! Real players do what they WANT, haters do what they CAN lol

Lmao, truly spoken like the troll that claimed to be paying a casual $35K over for his/her A91-MT.

Everyone is of course more than welcome to spend what they want to secure the vehicle - some of you are willing to accept getting absolutely sodomized on the purchase price, but that’s a personal decision and reality in today’s market.

The “real players” and “haters” speech screams 19 y/o stance king. ;)

What an awful take lmao. Why would you have this mindset when several people on this thread have confirmed they are paying MSRP for their A91-MT?

It’s like bragging about being kicked in the balls because “real players do what they want” ?

A fool and their money are soon parted.

I'd obviously prefer not to pay over MSRP.

We'll see who actually gets an SE without a mark-up. I'd be damn surprised if there are many.

It's clear that this person's value hierarchy directs them to thinking they are a "baller" if they're able to spend more on the same thing than someone else. Said people are great for capitalism. ?

It's definitely do-able, but again it comes down to your own personal preference and what you're comfortable with. For many, the amount of time/effort it takes to secure a limited production edition at MSRP simply doesn't make sense or is too huge of a hassle. It typically involves taking a few hours of making a list of and speaking with multiple out-of-state dealerships, and then of course actually flying out of state to take delivery or having it shipped. Time is money, and to some, their time is more valuable than the mark-up being paid — I get that completely. Enjoy your car when it comes in mate!
