Not really? Appears to be the star style BMW bolt head. I haven’t received the kit yet to install, I just wanted to get a jump on ordering the bit for the install.

@SupBrother maybe you can let me know since you appear to have your kit already? Share some pics if you have them as well. Thanks ?

Officially, E14. Unofficially, 11mm.

I was planning on installing it today. It seems that I’m missing a bag. Notice the previous pic states 2 of 2. I don’t have the hardware kit for 1 of 2. Just sent an email to inquire about it.

@SupBrother I wonder if the hardware is included in the kit for the strut bar as the part numbers are also priced separately on their site. Did it arrive in the kit as something the dealership packed in or did it seem to be direct from Toyota; Possibly you ordered them separately? Are the missing pieces the mounts to the frame or the cross bar? I already have the frame support hardware but obviously the cross bar hardware I need. I’ll give them a call myself in the morning to make sure mine aren’t randomly missing or if I have to purchase them I can. Thanks for the heads up.

Edit: does the bar have a package label that says 1/2 perhaps and possibly you have everything?

I just called the closest dealer to me, and keeping mind I'm in Canada... $1008 and it needs to come out of California. Usually my parts come from Vancouver so I'm guessing no stock in Canada yet for the dealers here. Well, at least I know now ?‍

I paid $470. To clarify the hardware that is included is for the strut bar and not the E16 bolts that come on the car. If you have a model without an existing bar you will need the E16 hardware.

I'd gladly pay the premium if the sides came in factory colors... if I've got to PC/paint anyway to achieve this -then no.

I’ll let you know, I sent an inquiry for my A90 as well. They are all 4 of the same E16 bolt, I’m just waiting for them to confirm I have the correct part number before ordering them as well.

They said the bolt isn’t in their parts catalog, I googled the bolts for the strut tower bar and there are several aftermarket bolts available to buy for the MKV Supra.
