Nice warm day to slap on some carbon to stick.
~ Not trying to be negative but … slow down on the add-on accessories … it’s becoming a major overload quickly. ?

So classy as is in the grey/tan.

Got baby's first oil change at the dealership.

I bamboozled them into a free oil change. Even got them to throw in a bottle of oil with GR Supra label for my garage decor.

I felt bad about the charade but then reminded myself about $1000 carbon fiber mirror cavers, the $300 paint protection (bottle of wax), $80 connect package (3 usb cables), the $100 carpet for the trunk, and the driver assist for another $1000 that actively tries to murder me. I got over it quickly.

Not trying to be smart, but doesn’t Toyoda offer free oil changes for all new cars up to 25k miles. I think it’s call Toyoda care.

I was thinking the Supra was excluded from this. But a little google fu doesn't seem to add up. I hate dealers. Even when I think I take 'em I don't take. Bastards so full of lies.

At least I got a free thing of motor oil.

Did you have any trouble spraying the Hyperdip with the wheels lying flat? I started this way, but I found the cans were sputtering more than I liked, so I ended up leaning the wheels against a wall and finished up. Then I found the note from DipYourCar saying not to spray the wheels lying flat LOL ?
Crap ?… Not a single problem yet. Glad I didn’t read that, lol. But it wouldn’t be hard to set them up on stands I suppose. Question for you though, we‘re only on can three and it looks amazing! My wife is like just save the other cans for other things or touch up. I can’t imagine continuing this process with it looking so good. Are the other cans just to make the epoxy/resin thicker? I can see that being the only purpose. I’m shocked how easy this process has been. No technique to it. Just spray it on any spots you missed or needs more. This has been an incredibly easy process! I can definitely see myself doing this again on any other car or this one, if we get the itch for a different color. It’s totally changed those ugly stock wheels ?

I wonder if they’d just give me the free oil. My car came with the extra ToyoGuard or whatever it’s called. So I prepaid for a total of 4 oil changes with them ?. I’d rather just do it myself or give it to my mechanic. Ensure it’s done right, no waiting around for the “master” tech and or disappointments from any mega service dept.

Took a page out of @Suggs.OR book and decided to add a roof rack tray so I can transport my race tires. Gave her a wash before that and she's looking nice and clean for Cars and Coffee tomorrow. Hoping to get some good double takes from people when they see it.

I’ve seen more people than expected with the roof box/roof rack set up. I love it.

I think the idea is to keep building the layers up to make it thicker and easier to peel.

I ended up saving the last half can for touchups, which I’m glad I did. I had to go back to some of the rim edges that I missed somehow!

LOL, true... Gotta be careful with exact Toyolingo. I had to look it up. It's called Toyoguard and I get an extra 2 oil changes in addition to the first two, for a total of 4 really bad service oil changes. Yup... It's definitely a rip-off alright!!!! ?

Just a sample link below. Mine was on the MSRP sticker. Very common on SE dealer vehicles.
