What did you do to your Supra today?

Took a page out of @Suggs.OR book and decided to add a roof rack tray so I can transport my race tires. Gave her a wash before that and she's looking nice and clean for Cars and Coffee tomorrow. Hoping to get some good double takes from people when they see it.

To anyone who wants the steering wheel bolt off: a Milwaukee M18 1/2" impact gun, or gun of equivalent torque, removes it in 2 seconds.

Woke up to a beautiful site. Day 2 of Hyperdip’in the stock wheels 🛞 and off to work. Started late last night and only on the 2nd can (mine is one of the pool cages still standing - just barely - after hurricane Ian)

Great tool, especially when working on the suspension. I’m pretty sure that’s what I used when I did my steering wheel, the bolt came off so easily that I never really registered it as being an issue.

I'm going one in trunk and 3 on top. For top layout I know I can do two tires parallel front and back and one sideways behind them. I'd prefer to lay them down or at an angle but I haven't tried out that kind of configuration yet. I don't think I can safely do 4 tires on top and I didn't want to go with a larger rack.

Cars and coffee was a success. It was a great conversation starter and decent amount of picture takers.

I'm continuing to take the interior out of the car. Maybe I just haven't gotten to it yet, but I'm surprised at how little adhesive mat-style sound deadening material there is in this car. Now I'm happy about that, because I don't have to scrape it off, but I've never stripped a car that had this little before (this is the 4th car of my own I've done this to).

Did you have any trouble spraying the Hyperdip with the wheels lying flat? I started this way, but I found the cans were sputtering more than I liked, so I ended up leaning the wheels against a wall and finished up. Then I found the note from DipYourCar saying not to spray the wheels lying flat LOL

Impact wrench did the trick. Finished installing the wheel and paddles.

Put my BONOSS wheel spacers on today. Was afraid 15/20 might be too much, but no - I quite like it. 17's or 18's might have even been better in the front.
