Ooooohhhhh the stock tires are a good one.
Why are the stock Michelins so bad? Thought Michelin pilot super sports were supposed to be awesome

They are super sports for getting groceries in a under 25 mph zone. But with corners > 10 degree angle and above 25 mph = not so super sporty.

Then why are they so expensive and many say they are good? But yeah im with you, in my experience even on stock power they get slidey

Well, two reasons for me personally. One, first gear is rough in this car. It's short. So it's easy to overpower the stock tires in first gear without any power mods unless they're up to temp, good surface, etc. Two, once I dropped some basic bolt-ons on the car it was pretty much game over for the tires. It was too easy to break them loose in too many situations. Granted, the car wasn't engineered for this, so I can't fault Toyota for it, but I think it's why many people on here complain about them.

It should be noted that many of the press cars early in the 2020 review cycle had Cup 2's on them, likely for reason #1.

Edit: They're also SUPER easy to overheat. So I guess three reasons.

No heated steering wheel, cramped/claustrophobic interior, poor ergos and visibility as a taller driver.

My one complaint on my 2020 Supra was - no manual transmission. Fixed that!

In regard to burbles and engine roar on warm starts ... keep 'em coming baby - love it!

Now, with the new downpipe and air intake, she sounds even meaner.

My driveway is fairly steep downhill from the garage to the street. I let it roll down the hill in 1st gear in the morning when I leave for work. That rumble is more effective than coffee.

My youngest son was interested in the Miata MX5 RF Club so we went to test drive one. I'm 6'2", he's 6'3" and we fit comfortably in the Supra. The Miata was not an option. Way too tight.

He ended up with a GR86. Nice ride.

Yeah not worth it to me either, wish it was as simple as pulling the plug like ASD
I don't recall exactly, but I believe if you set engine to normal in Sport Individual, it reduces the burbles.

It does, but then the throttle response is so much slower too. I want to have my cake and eat it too lol

The super Ugly prem wheels for the 2020…….
The real crime is the 2 tone style. If the same wheel came in gunmetal from the factory it would look great
