The biggest compliment, to me, is all the people that want to know more about the car at the track. Homestead this weekend. New Vette guys, Porsche peeps, a new Lotus buddy, you name it. How is it so fast on the straights? What have you done to the engine? What is it? LOL

I love all the questions and from incredibly nice peeps. Adding to the fun, lots of fans came to watch FARA racers. Tons of families coming up to my car, wanting pictures with their kids ?

I know you’re going to have a blast kaj! It’s really nice knowing you don’t have to do a heck of a lot out of the box to go really fast on track ?
I'm looking forward to being reasonably fast in a car without having to basically rebuild the whole thing. This car will always be a comfortable street car. Full interior, etc. Suspension and some aerodynamics. That's about it.

Installed 2023 OEM wheels on my 2022 Tungsten Supra 3.0 this morning.
I really like those wheels. I'm looking to powder coat my OEM 2021 wheels gray. Doesn't quite look as good, in my opinion, but the OEM wheels look really good when they're one color and not black.

Suspension all back in after servicing. Brought it down to the ground and performed the coolant bleed. Having never owned a BMW before, service mode to bleed the coolant is kinda wild.

I can't wait to get this thing back on track with all the aero!

will be my first track season with “real aero” also…

Wheels, tires, brake pads, brake fluid done. Rock guards on. TPMS set up. I realized my magnets won't work on this car, so had to put actual stickers for the numbers.
Almost ready to get whooped at Bimmer Challenge. ?
18s sure give this car a whole different look.

I tend to do things differently. :D I'm currently thinking of how to heat cycle the tires. I'm thinking some violent stop/go while bedding in the pads followed by a spirited drive through a local windy road. I have no way to do it on a machine.

I have never heat cycled them, but yea if you want day 2 grip on day 1, drive the hell out of them before ;)

Damn, nice garage!
Thanks! Actually it's a part of a hall and the old office of the company i founded with my buddy some time ago. But we use it as our garage for project cars & mountain bikes now.✌

If you don’t mind me asking, where were you able to get them from ? Love the 23 wheels but can’t ever find any people selling them
I bought them off xkyo23 who was selling them here.

Just driving around at speeds over 50 mph should be fine. I didn’t lookup what treadwear your running, but with 100tw mine heat cycle really quick. I did drive all the way from Ft. Myers to Miami, lol. So that was plenty. The grip… Wow!!!!
