A bit disappointed in Toyota

Have you guys seen the new Corolla GR from Toyota? How does that car have functional vents and 3 exhaust!!! Here the top of their line gets fake vents instead and a wimpy horn.. ??‍?

Does anyone think they’ll redesign the Supra and update those things?

Three exhaust is for suckers, don’t really care about horn, but fake vents will be a peeve of mine when I get my car. Easy enough fix I read.

I’m not saying the Corolla is better
I’m saying I feel like Toyota put more thoughts into the corolla.
If anything Corolla should get fake vents and Supra gets functional vents for cooling/downforce.

Giving a shit about shit like exhaust and vents is such a ridiculous premise. Almost as ridiculous as giving a flying fuck about things like 'heritage' or 'legacy' or whatever.

They could have engineered, added, many more things and ended up releasing it in 2021 instead for $10k more..
Toyota has a problem right. It's not a Japanese car, so not so much national love. They can't make it $70k then people would just buy Porsche. They can't sell it like Vette quantities with vette fan bois and patriots or charger challenger and 3,4 series as Supra is born a sports car.. for 55K it's pretty darn good car fake vents or not..

It's still built to a budget. As a 6MT buyer, I'd rather Toyota continue refining the mechanicals than cosmetics tbh. The car already looks amazing.
