Dude….. I’m only laughing bcuz you were surprised when mine broke a while back. That sucks! I’m on my 3rd (or 4th ?) now. The company I used is fed up that it keeps breaking with their one year warranty. So they are making me wait on OEM glass this time ? It’s been 2 weeks in my garage because the rear view mirror wouldn’t stick to the last window properly.

I was reading and this is a bmw issue because of tension on the glass or something
At least we’re not the only ones. I think my tension is proportional to the glass tension. It’s definitely on the rise… ? Be interesting to hear the BMW forum peeps take on it. I’ll have to check it out.

Holy shit that's crazy to hear you're on that many. I'm going to write this up and send up to Toyota corporate for a response

I literally took out free windscreen replacement on my insurance policy because of all these posts. Before owning a Supra, I have never even considered this option before!

Rerouted all the EVAP crap on top of the manifold to clean everything up.

Also, @kaj, you will be interested to know that you can fit the engine cover with the Wagner Manifold when you reroute the EVAP crap and do some small cutting of two of the mounts underneath the cover.

Most people are fine. However a little chip/rock/nick and I seem to toast. Perhaps the OEM glass will be the right call this time… @Todday1 puts a film on his. I’ll have to look into that.

im a solutions nerd so I'd get off tracking these and relating them to something tangible. Not everyone drives like you or I so I imagine most will be fine

on my windshield you can actually see where the crack it pulling away from the rest of the glass also, indicating it's under a lot of pull/tension

No pics because it’s hot and I’m tired but:

* Got JQwerks magnetic paddle shifters (thanks @Kamber ) and CSG CP pads installed.

The paddle shifters are epic. So snappy, so positive, so much more engaging.

* I haven’t taken the time to fully bed the CPs, but damn does it make it easy to engage ABS on a really hard stop (I’m on PS4S tires). They should be perfect for my use case - autox and the occasional track day on stock power.
