I know there is an LED in the mirrors to warn you of cars in the blind spot, but are you supposed to be able to see the LED that is on the sides of the mirrors when the signals are on? From the driver's seat I mean. So you can notice if your blinker did not go off because the turn was not sharp enough. You know, because even though its a "nice BMW" I actually use my signals :).

;) I take it that you are saying it is not supposed visible from the driver's seat. Pity, the actual BMW I traded in for this car had this feature and I found it handy. With HUD I look at my mirrors a lot more frequently than down at the guages.

They are visible from the driver's seat, but it's easier to see the turn indicator light in the gauge cluster, especially during the day.

Mine are not visible from the driver's seat :(. If I follow the line of LED lights from the side of the mirror - is it supposed to light up on the front edge of the mirror rim?

It is basically a BMW- Op may not know it, but BMW owners can apply for a turn signal delete permit. I have one
Oh no! You mean I missed my chance to apply for one before I traded in my 330xi? ?
