I also ordered mine last week. I was a bit skeptical, like most of you, due to me having the Speed Industry HKS style BOV originally. My tuner told me to remove it. I missed the sound. When I saw this kit, I had to order it. It seemed like a better, more efficient BOV design than the HKS system, which had to be wired into a separate controller. Install wasn't bad, but I felt like they should have went this route instead.

My kit arrived today. Install in the AM.

Downfall, wish they only sold the top portion and its lines separately. The bottom charge pipe is already an FTP brand and upgraded from stock. No issues running up to 32psi of boost. Maybe they will sell just the top section in the future, to save some of us some funds.

Results tomorrow. :)
Any updates? Was install hard? More sound clips please

It will be tomorrow before I can install this kit. I work shift and will not be home until tomorrow morning. I will post up some clips of my car when its finished and I confirm no boost leaks. I will more than likely only install the top section of the charge pipe. I have had ZERO issues with the bottom FTP charge pipe section coming off, even at 32psi of boost. My install should be much faster. I would also imagine that others with an upgraded charge pipe already, would be the same.

I'll probably do the same.

you'll have to use the BMS bottom charge pipe.. the upper is longer than the FTP, they won't line up

Fully installed. This is a tight fit but the product works as advertised. I think it sounds great. It is not super loud with the windows up.

The vacuum tap is super easy to work on. There is no instructions so you need to go to BMS website for PDF. They should include at least a QR Code.

My only negative is the stock screws for the charge pipe do not fit with the BMS charge pipe. I had to grab some laying around my garage. For this price, they should be able to provide new screws.

Overall. Great product. Should have instructions or a QR Code to them and include 2 new screws for charge pipe.

Hi, Payam here to help some of you guys with questions you might have.

Install guide can be found on the website where it was purchased, otherwise here is the link:
https://www.jb4tuned.com/instructions/B58TU-charge-pipe-BOV-install-guide.pdf

Correct, looks like some of the kits have missed the two bolts. We certainly do provide them as you can see it is listed on our website under the parts list.

You can temporarily put some washers in between if you don't want to remove the unit in the meantime. Email our support staff with your BMS order number and we'll get them sent out.

You can also source them a local hardware store, the spec is 2 units of M6x1.0x20mm bolt.

My results were the same. Had a little boost leak, due to one of the charge pipe clamp wasn't tightened enough. Repaired rather quickly. My kit didn't come with the correct bolts either. One of the bungs was super tight and wouldn't allow any of the bungs to tighten. Retapped it and worked perfectly. Sound is much louder than the HKS one. Thats for sure.

Was it worth it? Yes. Is it worth the $650, not sure. Maybe $400. I didn't like the fact that the sensor was turned the other direction and facing down. Should be an easy fix. Burger Motorsports= include the right bolts, sell just the top section separately, turn the sensor bracket around like the FTP.

This is my honest feedback.

Thanks for the feedback!

Couple things to note. The Turbosmart raceport BOV alone is $280, so if you can find a full top and bottom chargepipe for $120 made in the USA then we will buy from you :)

Bolts are included as stated a couple posts above, some kits were missed unfortunately. Email us and we'll send them out no problem.

Sensor was fitted that way to ensure the engine cover will go on without issue. We will look into turning it around on the next batch.

Top section will not be sold separately as we can't confirm fitment with other chargepipe brands.
Also to ensure fitment and proper functionality this is the best way to go about it.

Worst case scenario example if we sold top section only. An international customer buys it and it doesn't fit their current aftermarket lower CP. They will then have to buy the bottom portion from us and pay double in shipping, double for work assuming they paid a shop to do it, etc.

You can pop open the harness clip and flip the sensor around!!! works like a charm.. But I agree, easier placement on top of pipe

BMS posted their PDF install instructions on their site.. Chargepipe install is straight forward, BOV pops right on upper pipe, bolts down... boost tap is easy as pulling off the line, plugging into the tap, and reinserting the tap.
