Any idea what could be causing this? The ethanol reading when under E50 jumps anywhere from 6-11% and when I have above E50 it’s worse, it’ll jump 11-15%. It's odd, when I'm E60 and above, it doesn't glitch at all. I’ve got the Visconti FF hooked up to Visconti Reflex harness. I’ve pulled off the FF kit 2 times and re-done it to no avail. I’ve also filled up gas 2-3 times from different gas stations.(91 octane) I’m not sure if it adjusts the tune when it spikes, I don’t want it to cause damage if it spikes to E65 when it’s really E50. The car doesn't feel like its adjusting the tune at all and if I don't have the screen up, I can't tell that its glitching. I've also recently replaced the FF s

ensor and it didn't fix. Ty in advance.

I had the same problem and replaced my harness with the 5ive Performance harness and problem went away. A little pricey fix but the quality of the harness is well worth it. I would double check your Visconti harness connections down by the passenger kick panel as those are known to go bad or become loose.

I'll have to give the connections another look over. I'll have to snag that 5ive harness if this hoe keeps it up. I just hate that crank sensor location. :'(

We have noticed an increase in ethanol sensor failures recently, so that is a good first step to check.

Next, I would suggest checking the ground wire for the wiring harness located on top of the valve cover by the injector ground.

If you are using one of our older kits, check if the installer left the zeitronix box plugged in. We have seen cases where keeping both the zeitronix and reflex caused interference.

Lastly, check where our Flex Fuel Subharness connects to the reflex harness. For ease of installation, our early flex fuel harness uses the same molex connector that's used on the zeitronix box. We've found that molex connector to have a very weak terminal lock, and if yanked, pulled, or twisted, it may make the wires loose.

Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need further assistance

So the 5ive performance harness works fine with the Visconti kit?

Yep….. plug and play mostly. Here’s an install video on YouTube.

Damn it was the whole box
yea it was pretty unfortunate. but swapping the Reflex's around it immediately fixes it. One thing I wish I tried was to erase and reload the firmware before buying a new reflex box.

Man I inspected the ENTIRE harness. I had it off the car multiple times, de-pinned and inspected every connecter. I wish I would've replaced the Reflex sooner, it would've saved so much time. Do you live by any other supra owners that have the Reflex+? If so, you could plug their reflex into your harness and see if the issue goes away. I didn't have the box warrantied sadly.

I don’t have anyone close unfortunately. Did your tuner say it was causing issues it jumping like that?

Wonder how hard it is to reload the firmware.

Neither did I. :( Tuner didn't have much input with the issue. Was told it could be either the -
1. Harness is damaged
2. Flex Fuel sensor
3. Reflex+ box
4. Connectors not plugged in all the way

So I went from cheapest to most expensive. I took off the harness and inspected it for damage(nothing), Reinstalled it making sure everything is perfect(nothing), replaced the Flex sensor(nothing), then replaced the Reflex+(fixed issue).

its super easy to load the firmware. There is a couple videos showing you how, and on Motiv's site they have instructions. If can PM me if you need help with it!
