Most recent/relevant track pad thread I could find & wanted to share. You might be interested too @Levophed

After ordering the most expensive brake pads I’ve ever purchased ?, CSG CE2 for the front rotors, my backorder of Project Mu 999s came in ?. Talk about timing. But not complaining. Those P mu 999s are incredible track pads once you’ve hit your limit & become really comfortable in the car! I’m sure the CSGs will be excellent as well. I’m keeping my Hawk DTC 30s on the rear for now. They last so long and bite well.

So if anyone in Florida wants some really nice brand new Project Mu Club Racers or Hawk DTC60s, I’ve got extras. I can bring them to the next Sebring NASA event.
where are you at?
I live in Miami and want to get my hands on a Project Mus.

End of an era if that was Danny Ric's last race, gonna miss his driving.

Also if Lando loses the driver's championship by 1 point, there's no doubt Red Bull using Danny and VCARB to take the fastest lap point is going to be called into question.

I‘ve seen it the other way as well. How/why are they stealing that fastest lap time point from Max, just by going in last minute on fresh tires. I‘m with you & think the fastest lap point should be removed.

I did read where Lewis & many other drivers are supporting Max around the cursing/swearing fine. Seem like the FIA or many reporters, if they like the driver or person, things can be overlooked. But Max dammit…. don't do it!!! ?

Lots of great advice here. I'll chime in, if I may. I've been doing HPDE and Time Trials for 30+ years, tens of thousands of miles on the track, and some instructing as well.

1) Absolutely flush your brake fluid right before the event.

2) PS4S are great tires, no issues. Stick with street tires until you've done 10+ events.

Spend your money on instructed track days, not go-fast parts. As you get faster and go on faster tracks, buy some decent race or street/race brake pads.

If you don't want to go through the bother/expense of dedicated brake rotors for the track pads, you can hit them with 30 grit sandpaper when you swap pads to remove the leftover pad material. Be sure to bed in the new pads.

Have fun, be safe!
