The HUD on its own is worth the price of admission for me.

Here's a weird thing with the seats here in Aus. If you order the car in the std Red or the new Orange then the Alcantara is a $4468 option but if you order the car in any of the other more expensive colours the same Alcantara seats are a $2668 option.

That's weird af. Typical Toyota Australia idiocy though so not surprised.

We usually just get the "top spec" or what TNZ considers the top spec, Ie Supra, GR Yaris, GR86, GR Corolla etc etc

I guess it makes sense in such a small market

If anyone's watching this in NZ, has an auto and thinking about selling it I'm in the market, in Nelson. I know there's a red one on TM, but red's not me and a couple of ex/current demonstrators which I'm a bit weary of.

Driven both manual/auto, and definitely want an auto - I have a GR Yaris, and a 600hp/tonne '7' Fraser to get my manual fixes.

In a perfect world around a '22 with a few years left on warranty. But also a '19/20 can spring for. Mods are a +/- whatever I get is going to end up with MHD+ on it regardless.

Well that escalated quickly, I now have the red '19 that was on trademe for a while. Not sure why as it's got the very trick Ecutek setup and is in exceptional condition. Seen/driven a few and wasn't really sure what to make of red, but in person, wow.. does look something else.
