Hello guys,

I have gotten a custom tune from a tuner in BM3. I want to tweek the exhaust valve control tables on this map.

is it possible to tweek the settings within a custom tune? Or if not, how can I copy this custom tune’s settings into another tune that I can control?

any ideas would be appreciated

You can only edit tables if the tuner allows it. Most do not.

However, for exhaust burbles and/or exhaust flap, you can tweak that in the app with sliders:

Hmm thanks for the info. I’ll reach out to the tuner to see if he’ll allow me. These tuners are so busy it’s hard to get a hold of them ?

yes I’ve seen these settings, I want more precise control like having them closed at lower gears and open at higher ones

Why do you want the exhaust flap closed in different gears?
The cars a bit too loud right now, when I’m around town in lower gears I’d like it to be quieter but when I need the performance at the higher end, I’d like for it to be freer flowing. Also would like it to be open in sport mode

Ideally I’d like to control it based on RPM and gear both but I took a look at the tables on the stock map and it seems to only be set by gear

currently with the stock valve logic, my valves never close

It is open in Sport Mode by default.

There is a RPM vs Gear vs Pedal% table for the flap. I haven't messed with them yet so not 100% sure if the logic connection is in there for our ROMs.

Awesome, last I asked my tuner he said that there are a few maps for flap control and it’s trial and error to see which one is actually used

this is the map I’d wanna adjust, hope it’s actually used
