Californian Supras

Hello,

I was just curious how many people in California were planning on buying one of the new Supras within the next year or so? We can maybe gauge interest and possible even start groups, clubs, etc.

Edit: I got my car today! I believe it is the first to arrive on the Western side of the USA?

Anyways curious if anybody else had received theirs?

Where is everyone getting their Launch Editions from? Doesn't look like it's gonna work out with the dealership I have my name at.

I am currently looking at San Bernardino for a few reasons. I imagine most Toyota dealers have already filled the lists for their supposed allocations.

Yeah I move from Louisville to San Diego in August which means I haven't been able to talk to any dealers in the area and makes a July delivery for me questionable anyway.

I would buy out of state and pay the fees associated with registering in the correct area.

I would if Toyota of Louisville was able to guarantee a July delivery... of course they can not at this point in time, and I'll be gone by August 1st.

Honestly haven't asked- no contact with them after they seemed somewhat clueless and I put my name in at Longo. Maybe I'll give them another call to see what their list looks like.

I actually forgot about it and was reminded by my SoCal Supra and NSX friend’s FB posts. By that time, it was already too late.

The first pic with the MKV and MKIV really throw me off on how the MKV’s overall size and hoodline.

Contacted Toyota of Louisville, he told me I would be #3 in line and that it would honestly take them longer to get 3 Supras in than it would for Longo to get 20 Supras in. "They do 10 times our volume easily." I guess I'll be sticking with Longo.

Well the issue is nobody knows how cars will be distributed. It could happen where dealers are all allocated a minimum number of supras for the year or it is based on dealer volume.
