Yeah sounds like it was poorly organized and gauging from vibes last year it wasn't received well then either. This will stick a fork in it for next year.

I went to the “pre-meet” and the rooftop at Excalibur and that’s it. I’m a local and don’t really do anything. I got my car a few weeks before the SiV 2021 and understandably wasn’t able to do anything since I didn’t have tickets. In 22 I took time off work did the show at LVMS, Drag race, show and shine and the Trackday. It was so disorganized then, we knew there was a “Supras take over the strip” but no one really knew when, if you aren’t in their circle then it’s easy to miss stuff. i didn’t show up to anything last year and this year just the couple meets that I stated.
the trackday canceled, the drag strip canceled, which would’ve been a shit show anyway during midnight mayhem. They don’t prep and last time I went when the weather changed over I got 2 runs in during the 6 hour event. I really feel bad for the guys that travel long distances for this. Local friend dumped 2k in getting his car setup for the trackday. Of course he can save the tires and stuff for the next track event, but wasn’t a reason to buy the fuel, and do everything since this was his last event of the year. Just a shitty situation.
