anyone remove the valved muffler (leaving the nonvalved muffler intact) and straight piped the exhaust to the valve? The HKS sound is immaculate, just not aggressive enough; getting boring

I'd just get a downpipe that suites your needs rather than modifying an exhaust. More sound + more power.

If you already have a catted dp, swap to a catless if you're not in an emissions state.

If you already have a catless dp, why would you want a full on straight pipe setup? This is a Supra, not a Civic or 350z.

Gents, I’m catless.. I should have prefaced with that.. the Hks with open valve just doesn’t rattle my brain enough I suppose ??‍♂… seeing many other valved exhaust for our cars, looks like when the valve is open it is essentially straight piped.. so I’m curious if anyone has felt similar regarding the decibel amount of the hks and has removed/(or thought about) the second muffler
