My wife had a Ryobi and now has a Craftsman. Only uses it for the wheels. Otherwise, it’s doing pool cage, pavers, & other house duties.I have never used a power washer on a car - in fact I don't see why you would unless its a semi/dump truck thats full of caked on mud.
I actually have a bunch of different stuff to rinseless wash. I really need to try it out and I've just been really lazy. Maybe tomorrow since it needs a bath but the wheels I still might spray down because of the brake dustI honest to God haven't used a hose on any of my cars for about 15 years now.
I clean in my garage with a bucket of warm water, and (if needed for winter) a small garden sprayer to rinse the dirt down.
I thrown the rags in the washer on hot with detergent and no fabric softener and then hang dry them.

I have to use some different stuff since my car has matte paint. I ended up getting 4 bottles which will probably outlast the car but it was only like 60 bucks for all of them. I've got a good sponge for doing it as well and a few different bucketsDo it - it will change your life
Copied this from an old email - prices probably went up since then.

You just need three cap fulls of the Optimum No Rinse wash and wax and two gallons (8 quarts) of water to wash your car. I spray down the car with the garden sprayer then wash from top to bottom, doing a little bit at a time. With my insulated garage, I can wash car year round and the amount of water that falls in the garage is about the same as driving in from a heavy rain storm.
The best part of the stuff is that you avoid being outside in the sun, I have even washed my car at night in the garage when it was my only free time.

I got the car and it already had 3xxx on it and I'm not sure if they used proper soap on it or not. I have not noticed any change in color/look of the paint since I've had the car and just rolled over 20xxx the other weekhows your matte finish from new to now? any change?
