Congrats everyone who picked theirs up today! Can't wait to see some more pics!

Hopefully not too much longer for the rest of us... SnapOn coming to mine on Wednesday apparently, still hoping for Thursday Afternoon pickup...

My dealer says the PDI should be done tomorrow now, i'll then get it taken to get the PPF done and so everything should be ready for me to collect at Friday. Fingers crossed!

Right, now I am done messing around trying to get Music to play from my phone in the car, here are some pics.

First impressions of the car:

When you first start driving, it feels that visibility is very low, however once your seated right with your mirrors aligned etc, it's fine.

It's fast, but does not feel fast. The power is so linear in every gear that your suddenly doing 120 and it feels like 60. Watch out if you have a heavy foot, this thing is deceptively quick.

Incredibly comfortable even in sport mode. The suspension is awesome.

Deceptively quiet in the cabin, plenty of pops and bangs in sport mode.

Comfort mode just cruises. It switch's to 8th gear at 40mph. Great for

Watch out for the different driver(s) profiles. If you change settings, then change profile everything is set to default, however the profiles adjust the side mirrors, so will work nicely if people of different heights use the car.

Lane assist is... interesting. If you indicate, it will not kick in, so for those complaining, its your own fault. The resistance is not that strong, but it is there for sure.

Adaptive cruise control is awesome.

She squats quite a bit when pushed to full acceleration.

Seats are great, have not figured out all the controls yet.

Car will switch off if left "on" after about 20 mins. I was listening to music with the engine off and it auto shutoff after 20 mins.

Everything is automated! (Been driving a 1996 GT4 for the last 12 years, never driven a modern car)

It has LED's on the door handles and under the door for finding your car in the dark.

It has parking sensors 100% of the way around the car! It could sense my Dad walking past the car as I pulled it into my garage.

The rev matching in sports mode is awesome. I heel-toe in my GT4 so its nice to hear the car doing it for me.

The car boot open button on my key does not work.

SatNav is displayed on the HUD! Road names as UK signs, roundabout exits.

The HUD means I never look at the speedo etc, however it is a little distracting. Not sure if I will keep using it or not.

Servicing intervals are not set. The car decides based on how it's been driven.

EVERYONE looks at it. I have not noticed myself (Driving!) but I picked up my son from college and he was noticing on the drive home.

The white paint is gorgeous in the sun.

Driver profiles can be set to each key. I.e. a key for you and your wife. Open the car with the key and it will be in that drivers profile.

The Toyota dealer (Ashford, Kent) were fantastic. They literally rolled out red carpet for me. Had the dealer owner show me around the car and the idrive. Car was in a special room under a black Toyota cover for a proper reveal.

That's all for my first impression for now. Will most more later if it comes to me.

Gonna go sit in the car with a glass of red wine and make vrrrm noises for a few hours. ;-)

Oh one thing! Even the dealer hated the default number plate holder, it's a big chunk of black plastic. Would have looked like a tacky aftermarket addon. Would be fine on a black car, but not any other colour. So it will sit in the windscreen until I work out a better solution.

cant remember the answer to this but who will you all be insured with?

I'm trying to find a cover that will pay the invoice value for the car should it be written off within the first year (rather than market value)

Every time i call toyota insurance to ask a question they put the price up!

Insured with Admiral and separately getting GAP insurance to bridge the gap between market value and invoice value should I require a write-off claim.

For GAP insurance try ala.co.uk rather than leaving to dealer.

I'm going with Admiral, gave them the invoice value when they asked so hopefully will pay out close to that if needed.

Mine said they could when I was discussing putting a private plate on, so I'm sure yours would offer it too.

I also made a slight mistake in my earlier post. The boot button on the remote does work, you just have to hold it for a moment.

Looking good with the 2 white Toyotas next to each other!

Slightly more news on my end, SnapOn confirmed to set things up tomorrow but still waiting on the car battery charger which is apparently unique to the Supra and absolutely necessary for PDI, but no news on where it is or when it will arrive!
