I got mine done by him late last year and I'm happy with the results. Mines a 2022 so isn't as poppy and bangy as the earlier cars. Not had MOT done yet but can't see why it'd cause any issues. Warranty wise, if they could prove it caused a failure to another part, then they would void it for said part. I've also got the exhaust valve permanently open to take full advantage of the exhaust mod.Hello, has anyone in the UK had the backbox modification done ? Paul at PCW made the change on mine at the weekend and loving it so far. Just wondering if anyone has had issues with warranty/MOT afterwards?
I run a Sports cat + OPF delete + backbox mod on the stock system, it’s pretty noisy and sounds great with the valves open but there’s very little drone on the motorway in Normal mode. This is off-topic, but what do you guys think of people in the US commonly running catless downpipes with a wide open exhaust? Dumb? Smelly? Are we lucky? Curious in the perspective. Have you ever heard a catless/loud exhaust Soup in person?
Plenty of people in the UK do, and have done ever since CATs were mandated back in 1992... you just need to find a tame MOT tester, (which is getting harder now VOSA has upped it's game in monitoring the MOT stations) or be prepared to refit it/map appropriately each year for the test. This is off-topic, but what do you guys think of people in the US commonly running catless downpipes with a wide open exhaust?
