Install my H&R springs couple of weeks ago and the car make like a “metal to metal” noise when Pass a small bump or something like that... very weird that my friends MKV make the same noise after installing H&R springs...

Anybody have the same?

So the first thing that comes in mind in general is if the springs have been installed correctly, refer to this install video of the Eibach springs and specifically regarding the bump stops @ 3:31, which i believe might probably be behind the noise you get

They are called progressive springs. 2 different rates of coil on one spring...

The close together section is a softer rate, they absorb all of the little bumps and give you better ride quality. The other section is a stiffer rate. When you throw it into a corner, the soft section completely compresses and you're just pushing against the harder section. The problem with them is the in between bumps, medium hard ones will fully compress the small section quickly, and then you get a noise. You can buy sleeves to put on in the transition area to quieten them down, but the sleeves don't last that long in my experience. Its the downside of progressive springs, plus a small moment of rate transition on more delicate maneuvers, I prefer linear coils myself. On the plus side, its just a noise, its not hurting anything.

The noise comes from the rear area (springs)

I haven't noticed any noise from mine ?
Ok... yours came with anything else beside the springs? In my box only came the 4 springs... just checking if need other part to install them ‍♂

I just got mine put on and there is a squeak at the rear when going over speed bumps. They were installed by someone very experienced with installing springs on BMWs - said it was practically the same procedure as an F8X - so I trust they were done correctly. Hope it goes away over time.

I will verify with a friend of mine that it may need like a rubber spacer between the arrows of the thinner side of the spring

I have noticed this metallic sound as well.

to me it’s spring coil tap noise.

I think the progressive spring explanation is best. I have the noise. It almost sounds as if the damper compresses over a bump and extends faster than the spring can and there emits a slack noise. But. After the progressive coil explanation I now believe the coils themselves are contacting each other. In a month or so I’ll inspect the coils to see if there are rub marks which would indicate coil to coil contact.
