Most people who don't want stuff breaking worry about ECU tunes. That's why people harden a lot of aspects for the car to include axles, driveshaft, transmissions, etc.
Same with the TCU. People will be putting more stress on something not rated for the thing that it's doing. But hopefully...
I'll be making the switch when I get my top mount installed. Hopefully by then enough data will be gathered. So far the big players in my area seem to love it.
Yeah I'm using the Armytrix with the built in simulator.
Armytrix uses a built in simulator (a sealed off bung that contains the precious metals). I don't know if that makes a difference.
I messed up my window trim trying to clean it a few months back. I threw on the Revel CF trim kit to hide my screw up.
I don't know if I'll keep it or not.
Removed my wheels and cleaned them. I also hit up the brakes. The ceramic coating really did a great job beeping the brake dust from sticking on the inner barrel. The stickers even look new.
So this will support port injection and flex? I don't know anything about this stuff. I've removed myself from all the car groups except for this forum, so I don't know what going on.
Remark Exhaust with AA catted DP
Remark Exhaust with Armytrix catless DP (audio is not as good. Forgot my mic). Also nothing was loose. It was just pebbles hitting the underside of my car.
Fitment is easily adjustable. I had to use a worm clamp on the rubber bracket thing for the hanger...
Pure Stage 1 Transmission installed along with the oil filter mod for the chonky EOS Intercooler. Now my car uses a Kia Stinger filter. Thanks to Matt over at Insomnia Motorsports for getting this stuff installed.
Matt over at Insomnia Motorsport finished installing the Pure Stage 1 Transmission and EOS Oil Filter Mod (Now my car uses a filter from a Kia Stinger).
I've got to drive it around for about 500 miles for the TCU to relearn everything.
If you're talking about scratches on the oxidized layer then you're going to have to do some work.
You need to use something like Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish to remove the oxidized layer. Then you'll need to re-oxidize it again with a heat source.
There's plenty of videos online that show...
