Well, given that it had a battery replaced I wouldn't be surprised. I honestly won't feel bad about it if its just a symptom of maybe being stored at the dealer for awhile and a battery replacement, because I can't find any fault codes, there's no other warning lights on, and the car drives...
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's on the rear. Not what I would have personally chosen, but this was installed by the previous toyota dealer. I checked to make sure they were directionally mounted correctly and the right size, that at least checked out.
That is about what I could find as well. The battery was replaced, and then that battery I believe was warrantied. According to Bimmerlink the battery charge is 80% and seems to be healthy though.
I didn't see any obstruction to the camera or any condensation, but I think that might be on the...
I'm hoping thats the case. The car drives fine otherwise, but I had a boulder in my throat when I saw that reading initially. It seems to be just like microsoft event viewer in windows, logs anything and everything even if not pertinent or important.
From what I can tell, the "Info Memory" is morelike a generic log? Not really any faults but I guess an "anything and everything" log of sorts?
Permanent faults turned up zero. So I'm assuming its just the 4 in error memory, but even those aren't throwing a CEL and the car doesn't have any...
Car is still within my return policy for another few days, so I'm debating on whether or not to keep it based on the...interesting history. It sat unsold and was moved between a few toyota dealers for about eight months. Clean autocheck and carfax report and it drives fine.
I was hoping...
When the 370 debuted it was basically that peak "Nissan/Renault" of shitty interior. I still can't believe how ugly the steering wheel and the controls are, let alone the infotainment screen. I once heard a friend of mine say "Nissan is the Chrysler of Japan" and man does that statement ring...
Ride height is stock, as is the whole car.
disabling vsc with the one click off is a solution, but I guess my concern is it just seems like its activating way too early even with VSC on.
If i was going in with 50%+ throttle and a crazy sharp steering angle/yaw I could understand...but this...
My 3.0 has the safety & tech package, so I really feel like I get the best of both worlds. The only thing my car is lacking is the hud, which I kept turned off on my 3.0 Premium anyway. I love these alcantara seats though.
So I was driving my car in sport mode (6MT), not very aggressively, mind you, around a freeway on ramp. I was maybe doing 45-50 with moderate steering input and I felt two small lurches like the front wheels lost traction momentarily then regained it.
I felt this was odd, as the car was not...
$30,000 territory, sure its a good car for the price, but you can't escape the potential head cracking issues that have plagued that VR30 engine. For me even at $30,000~ it's not worth the gamble. The local dealer near me had a Heritage edition (2024 model year) for about a year and a half just...
But I'll say this, going from a 3.0 Premium to a 3.0 - I love the 3.0 seats way more than the 3.0 premiums. The alcantara and subtle color difference underneath looks so nice.
An objective POV from someone who has owned both for about a year apiece:
I traded my 2023 3.0 Premium 6MT for a 2024 Performance 6MT Z. At the time I was wanting something that felt more JDM, and I felt I'd give the Z a try. Never owned a Z before, but I've owned my fair share of 240sx's and...
I am probably the outlier here, but if my significant other had an issue with the space, that is very much a them problem and not a me problem.
Space wise, I think the MKV interior space is pretty decent, minus the small opening for ingress of putting things in the trunk.
I suppose I'm lucky...
Asked them via social media awhile ago and they apparently don't offer it anymore. Anyone have any idea as to why? Was really hoping to get that done.
Can't seem to find any information on it either, though if they could do it with whats already on the car, that leads me to believe all the...
I was unfortunate enough to pick up a nail probably less than 500 miles into my ownership, one tire was about $500~ and change, so that's about on par with what you are getting, or at least in the same area I'd imagine.
I was pretty surprised at the price being so bad. I know it's the dealer...
I understand what you are saying; I've driven cars that one could argue are equipped with far better transmissions than the ZF 8 speed (DCT, PDK, etc), and I honestly still wouldn't own one. They are obviously good at what they do but they do something I'd rather do myself.
I can't believe people are having allocation issues still. I must have gotten insanely lucky, I waited all of six weeks for mine. Based on what I gathered when I was calling around to countless dealers was that some of the lower volume ones have a lower chance to get an allocation by the sound...
