thank you for everything as well. The car is over getting the wheels ceramic coated today and they were wowing at the shop when I dropped it off.
Also look how perfect that fitment is! Especially side by side with my M4. Now it’s making me think I need smaller spacers on my M4, cuz they poke...
Here’s my car next to a darker orange wrapped E30 and parked next to my Melbourne Red M4 CS as well as directly in the sunlight in the mid afternoon.
In only certain lighting does it ever look reddish, but in practice, the car is truly orange, just a medium orange
Nothing you haven’t seen before. Advan GT Premium in the Machined lip, Hyper Black spoke finish. “Supra Spec” 19x9.5/19x10.5. Tires are 275/35/19 and 305/35/19. Lowered 15mm rear and 20mm in front on MSS height adjustable springs.
I’m really glad I took the time to read this thread. I love this crowd.
it’s clear that we have two distinctly different generations of owners. Late Gex/Xennial/Early millennial and then Gen Z.
so glad to be old right now.
Theoretical question, as I’m trying to get a game plan together for my mods this year… (also I know people get crabby when people throw theoreticals, but hear me out for two weeks)
My exhaust is full active Autowerke, so full 3.5” except for the OE neck down. As of next week will be full 3.5”...
yeah they fuckin’ ruined what was a highly respectable auto-x god. I loved our RS.
Just too fuckin’ stuff and interior too budget cheap to hold onto it after we hit 3.5 years of ownership.
Oh yeah, I disabled that very quickly. Good on you for waiting till 1200 miles to hammer it. Mines been getting thrashed from time to time now for 4000 miles, and loving it. Most of them without working parking sensors. Thankfully my appointment is in two weeks and finally hopefully will be...
Don’t besmirch the ST like that. It was a great new car that predated the pops and burbles. They didn’t get the ricey noise until the Focus RS came out.
I had both when they were new. No Corvette, but just as yellow
what exhaust mods do you have done? I have full active Autowerke exhaust, catted downpipe and catback. I have an appointment with a friend next week to get rid of the factory 3” neck down after the downpipe to make my full exhaust system 3.5” the full way.
I really love my MSS Height...
Bringing our now very weird thread to the top with some car porn from today.
A bunch of pictures from today. New slave cylinder to delete the CDV valve installed, as well as the center caps for my wheels and of course due to a shipping error, my front wheels are finally on.
Huge improvement...
Zero issues, sounds, or complaints with my MSS Height Adjustable setup. Only praise. Installed two months ago now and they’re just what I wanted for sharpening the car up and not ruining the handling and dynamics by going too low, or needing to worry about scraping.
In fact, I was so impressed...
Nothing makes me question trusting a vendor more than them being so uneducated that they never learned the difference between brake and break. That link…
Would this shift power upward in any way? One thing I dislike about the stock turbo is how midrangey it is. I’m truly split between going stock and simple, or going all in with an Ultra Flow-R
From experience, I'd definitely recommend front bumper, partial hood and front and rear flanks behind the wheels if you're ever going to run wider than stock or spacers.
Shipping wheels and tires already mounted, always cover both sides of the wheel with cardboard and then wrap with professional grade plastic wrap.
it’s worked for me now… five times? Without any issue. From motorcycle wheels to forged wheels for cars.
