personally doesnt bother me. I know its just technically another marketing technique by Toyota to make us feel like it has a closer connection to the MKIV than it actually does. However as you stated it sounds and feels better to say A90 than J29 and honestly that for me is enough. Theres...
Congrats on the winner! I decided to buy a few for myself as i love supporting artists. Super fast shipping and they look amazing. Got the A91 Supra for myself and the GT3 for my girlfriend
If you dont need it paintmatched i'd contact Elite Performance. They do really good work with installing parts. They also tend to be the go to for Supra owners in the Bay.
its weird, but my experience recently has found that its been cheaper to go with two different insurance companies for my cars rather than bundling them together. For a while i had Metromile on the S2k and Geico on my then M2 Competition.
i have noticed every now and then my warning chime wont go off even though the car is really close to something. I chocked it up to typical BMW problems. The sensor itself is still working though and showing me where the car is relative to the object i'm near on the display.
My conclusion is that most cars have this safety feature, however some are having issues where the car wont leave that safety mode.
It makes sense why the dealership wouldnt be able to diagnose this, but i'm curious if this feature can somehow be turned off. Its definitely very disconcerting...
That sounds pretty standard to me. My Supra insurance is about the same as yours.
However which car is your daily? I would look into Hagerty insurance for the car that isnt your daily. I insure my S2000 with them and i only pay 470 every 12 months. Originally i was paying almost 700 every 6...
I have noticed, that this car sounds like old 90s cars after driving them. Like either some sort of condensation or something dripping onto underpanels or something.
I was on the track once in a 570S and it was super fun. Theres something different about Autocross for me though. its a different kind of rush. We'll see if it hits any different when its in my own car, but either way i'm excited.
I'm still going to go. I dont plan on taking this car to the track too often and i had a grand time putting my car sideways at autocross. I think i'm just going to hope for the best.
Haha yeah i was beat. WE had 4 sessions with back to back runs up till 12, i think in all i got about 20 runs in. I'm normally beat after a normal day with about 7-10 so i was tired haha.
Honestly easiest way to check is to just take a look at your ECU date on the ECU plate itself. Just pop the hood it takes 5 minutes.
My only real question is, do you even know what you are asking? Just the question "Do i need to be unlocked" poses so many questions. What exactly do you mean...
Where did you buy the tire? Also for what price? I got two brand new rear tires 295/35/19 for 330$ each MPSS, from tirerack.com and they shipped it to a local tire shop within 5 days. I'm just surprised it seems like its taking so long for you.
Its so suprising that people who have ordered are getting their cars after people like me who just found one on the lots. I guess i dont understand pre-orders in the car world, but usually a pre-order means you get it first no? Especially one that was built first or second.
no i think he meant that the price difference between a 44k used one and a brand new one for 50-51k isnt that much, and with some more negotiating and incentives one can bridge the gap even further.
Generally for anyone who can afford a 50k car and not go broke, can generally afford an...
yeah that wouold be for the best. If he really wants to tune i recommend him just getting a used 2020. He'll save a few thousand that way and i dont think people have actually seen any major benefit to tuning a 2021 vs a 2020.
